Campaign Details
Targeting guests subscribed to the hotel's email list or Instagram, such as families, repeat guests or those in the local area, the campaign kicked off with an irresistible 25% discount on bookings, creating a buzz of urgency and exclusivity. To sweeten the deal, they threw in a $20 gift card for the in-house restaurant and bar, plus free parking—a coveted perk in the downtown area. This offer not only spiked hotel bookings but also drove traffic to the restaurant and eased the challenges of parking. With no blackout dates, guests could take advantage of the offer anytime, making it perfect for those planning their next trip.

To build anticipation for the offer, they started with a "Coming Soon" teaser email featuring an animated gif with confetti, hinting at the exclusive deal. A week later, they officially unveiled the offer with a formal Black Friday email campaign and a 24-hour Instagram story. Both were crafted to drive traffic to the iHotelier Booking Engine, showcasing prominent sales tags and callouts to highlight the limited-time nature of the offer.

Over the short period the campaign ran from November 29th to December 2nd, the Black Friday email campaign for The Grove Hotel Boise was a standout success, generating over $30,000 in revenue and securing 88 reservations. The campaign not only boosted bookings but also created an electrifying buzz of excitement and exclusivity, enticing guests to indulge in the hotel's luxurious amenities.
