Oceania Hotels, a family-run company founded in 1975 in Brittany, France, transforms both new and existing properties into vibrant, engaging, and unforgettable spaces, offering a range of stylish 3- and 4-star hotels across France designed to deliver exceptional service and unique experiences. Aiming to boost direct business and revenue without compromising their nightly rates, Oceania Hotels tapped into the power of Amadeus’ suite of solutions to coordinate a sleek, multi-channel Black Friday promotional campaign that required minimal effort and maximized efficiency.

Campaign Details
To encourage longer stays, the campaign offered a 30% discount for bookings of at least two nights. After completing their booking, guests were also presented with additional add-ons they could book. Seeking to exude a high-end vibe to the leisure market, they ensured each campaign element was crafted with a minimalistic yet luxurious design to showcase the brand's identity. While this may seem straightforward, managing a unified campaign strategy across 31 properties can be challenging for a single person.

Oceania Hotels effectively tackled this by leveraging Amadeus’ Website, Guest Management Solutions (GMS), iHotelier® Booking Engine, and Digital Media capabilities. These tools enabled them to craft a comprehensive Black Friday campaign with multiple touchpoints and consistent branding, significantly expanding their reach to potential guests.

To kickstart their campaign, they harnessed the power of GMS workflows to automate their Black Friday email blasts, sending follow-up emails to reengage recipients who hadn't booked within 8 days of the initial offer. At the same time, they deployed prominent pop-up banners on their website to inform visitors about the Black Friday deals. They leveraged iHotelier's cutting-edge promotions to spotlight the offer on the Booking Engine accommodations page with eye-catching callouts and sales tags, boosting its visibility and creating a sense of urgency by framing it as a limited-time deal. To cast an even wider net, they advertised the promotion on Google and social media channels, driving traffic to a dedicated landing page that showcased the offer.

No matter where or how the offer was presented, Oceania Hotels delivered a seamless brand marketing experience that was consistent across their multiple platforms. Through this approach, Oceania Hotels achieved Black Friday campaign success that garnered over €132, 000 in revenue and over 660 direct bookings during the campaign period from November 4th to December 19th.
