August 3, 2020 – In a difficult time for the travel industry, Posadas, the leading hotel operator in Mexico, reinforces its longstanding business relationship with Amadeus by expanding its technology portfolio to include media and web solutions.
Even in the midst of the pandemic, Posadas developed its first digital media campaign in early 2020 and subsequently increased reservations in international markets by 15% compared to the previous year. Posadas also decided to elevate their digital presence further by harnessing Amadeus’ expertise for hospitality websites, and together, we proudly launched the La Colección website in mid-June.
The La Colección website not only allows Posadas to talk about the wide range of amenities and services at their 15 resorts, but also highlight the memorable guest experiences they offer, including custom weddings and events. La Colección Resorts represents 30% of Posadas’ total revenue, making the website a critical tool to increase bookings from outside the Latin American region.
The recent addition of digital media and web services to the longstanding partnership between Amadeus and Posadas demonstrates the value of the solutions and services provided by Amadeus to hoteliers. Posadas also subscribes to Agency360®, a business intelligence tool that helps hoteliers better understand which travel agencies are booking their property to improve performance. They have been clients of GDS Media for over a decade to capture strategic insights from Agency360 and apply it to their GDS media advertising strategies. And five years ago, Posadas added Amadeus’ iHotelier® Central Reservation Solution (CRS) to their portfolio, allowing them to maximize direct bookings while also maintaining a healthy channel mix.
