How a Historic San Francisco Hotel Leveraged Amadeus’ iHotelier Solution

In early 2024, Quest Apartment Hotels, a leading provider of serviced apartments in Australasia and the United Kingdom, announced an extended partnership with Amadeus to enhance the brand’s online presence, better connect with audiences across the region, and increase revenue.

With over 170 metropolitan, regional and suburban properties throughout Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and the U.K., Quest Apartment Hotels belongs to The Ascott Limited, the world’s largest serviced apartment network. Although the chain offers a variety of accommodation options to suit the needs of travelers and residents alike, it specializes in catering to business travelers.

Quest Apartment Hotels has been an Amadeus customer for several years, subscribing to Travel Seller Media for over 120 properties in Australia since 2022, adding Agency360+ in 2023 and Amadeus’ Digital Media at the start of 2024.

Quest Apartment Hotels’ successful expansion 

Thanks to Amadeus’ Agency 360+ solution, Quest Apartment Hotels has been able to pinpoint the top travel agents and corporations making bookings in their markets. This has enabled Quest’s franchised properties to compare their performance against their market and uncover new opportunities for business expansion.

Quest has also been pleased with Travel Seller Media advertising campaigns that performed well in both 2022 and 2023; the chain has experienced a continuous, positive return on ad spend (ROAS), return on investment (ROI), and increased revenue.

Interested in implementing a digital strategy aimed at increasing its brand.com bookings, Quest approached Amadeus with the challenge in early 2024.

Business intelligence and digital media: a powerful combination  

Amadeus recommended its digital media solution – paid search, display and social – as the next logical step for Quest to drive brand.com bookings and increase brand awareness.

The two solutions – Business Intelligence and Digital Media – have proven to complement each other, with Amadeus’ customers and their guests benefiting.

Amadeus’ extensive experience in the travel sector and expertise in delivering impactful digital media solutions will be key in helping Quest reach new audiences and travelers in the increasingly competitive online landscape.

Amadeus’ Digital Media solution will also play a crucial role in expanding Quest’s business from primarily corporate clients to a mix of both corporate and leisure customers.

This will be achieved by running social ads that will shift the traveler’s mindset to consider the Quest Apartment Hotel brand during the holiday research phase in combination with paid search and display ads to boost conversions on the brand.com website during the purchasing phase.
