Summer 2022 marks a huge milestone in the recovery of the travel industry as people look to get away after two years of pandemic uncertainty and restrictions. Across largely open borders, worldwide hotel occupancy in April ended on a high note at 62%, surpassing 2019 levels for the first time since the pandemic began.
